   FIDE published the rating list as per 1 March 2012. The first position among men is held by Magnus Carlsen with an impressive number of 2836 scores. Levon Aronian is just at his back who raised up to 2820. Third place is occupied by Vladimir Kramnik.

   Judit Polgar is at the head of the women rating with 2709 scores. Hou Yifan who showed perfect performance in the recent tournaments and got 39 scores more, is on the second place with 2639 scores. On the third place there is Humpy Koneru.
